Mission Update: Four Corners & Hawaiian Islands

Last week I joined my soul brother for a mission in the northwestern region of New Mexico to Work on portals and energy lines. This area is part of the Four Corners, where the states of Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico meet at one location, but more importantly it is home to a rich indigenous heritage that includes the Navajo Nation, Hopi, Ute and Zuni. We spent three (freezing) nights camping next to Chaco Canyon, which is a region historically occupied by Ancestral Puebloan people (aka Anasazi) and now part of Chaco Culture National Historical Park. This is considered to be one of the best places in America to stargaze. The picture above shows Venus rising at sunset.

The first day on task we traveled to Pierre's Site, which is 15 miles away and the largest settlement on The Great North Road that leads from Chaco Canyon (the ancient road is no longer visible on the ground but has been identified through aerial photography). My soul brother guided us here by GPS and aerial maps. Once on the land he used dowsing rods to locate the ancient road's path. As we walked this road to the site I received messages of "processions" and could feel the ancestors walking with us. This relatively unknown, remote and hard to reach archaeological complex perched atop small mesas is located on federal land and surrounded by oil-gas production facilities, though the site itself is protected. We had to walk through the oil-gas fields, which included climbing over 4 gates and crawling under a barbed-wire fence! We bushwacked our way to the top of El Farro (yellow arrow points to El Farro) and here we completed the task. (Photos: Top: Pierre's Site. Bottom Left: Me atop El Farro offering the tobacco pipe to Spirit. Bottom Right: This tree received our offering to the land and heard our request for permission to complete the task.)

The next day we Worked many places within Chaco Culture National Historical Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) that preserves more than 15 Chacoan “great houses” that were the hubs of Puebloan (Anasazi) civilization between 850 A.D. and 1150 A.D. For generations, Chaco Canyon was a major centre and is remarkable for its monumental public and ceremonial buildings of distinctive architecture – it has an ancient urban ceremonial centre that is unlike anything constructed before or since. The structures completed by the Puebloans were some of the largest buildings constructed in North America until the 19th century. (Photos taken at Riconanda, the largest great Kiva at Chaco; Chetro Ketl; and Kin Kletso areas.)

The last task took us to Shiprock, a 1700-foot eroded volcanic plume that formed over 30 million years ago. This place is sacred within the Navajo culture. Called Tsé Bitʼaʼí or “the rock with wings,” myth says that the Shiprock was a piece of land that became a bird, carrying the ancestral people of the Navajo on its back. At sundown, the enormous creature settled in its current desert location and promptly turned back to stone. As we began driving down the dirt road that follows the "spine" Spirit had us pull over to give an offering and ask permission. We were then told to park the vehicle and walk from this point (though other vehicles had driven in). After much walking we were guided to a specific location to complete the task. The work accomplished in the previous days had laid the groundwork for this final task, which was very powerful and intense for us both! We spent some time soaking in the magical energies of this land before heading back to the car and saying goodbye to New Mexico.

NEXT MISSION: HAWAIIAN ISLANDS

Towards the end of 2022 I heard Pele, the Hawaiian Volcano Goddess, calling me to the islands. Shortly thereafter the Ring of Fire mission was received and Hawaii was put on hold. I found it interesting that the Hawaiian volcanos are not considered part of the Ring of Fire because they sit directly in the middle of the Pacific plate, and not on a tectonic plate boundary (i.e. where the Pacific plate collides with the North America plate). To me, however, the two feel very connected. I've been asked to arrive before the March Equinox, which leaves a short amount of time to plan and prepare!
